"PAPER IS ONE THING, BUT WORKING IN THE DIRT IS CLEARLY ANOTHER."
Walter J Travis
Designing a golf course doesn’t stop at the drawing desk, it actually starts when the first ideas get sketched into the ground and being built. The Design-Build process allows the shaping architect to edit on-site, during construction, to ensure the highest quality of the finished product is achieved. Refining and adapting the strategic elements from the macro to micro to create the ideal golf hole without any losses in translation.
This is why I make the effort of personally shape and finish my work.
